Step 2 While—listening(15 minutes)
(1)Listening for gist
Listen to the story for the first time in normal speed and try to answer“What did Yu Gong want to doWhy”
Keys:Yu Gong wanted to move a mountain,because the mountains were very big and high that it took a long way to walk to the other side.
(2)Listening for specific information
Listen to the story for the second time to circle the correct words in the brackets.

Students work in pairs to rearrange the text into a conversation.Some questions are provided by the teacher.

Students can make a conversation accordingly,the longer,the better.For example:
