正确答案
It is vividly portrayed in the drawing that the ancient Chinese scholar, Zhuge Liang, also briefly called Kong Ming, who is very famous for his excellent capabilities and outstanding intelligence in ancient China, applies for a job. Yet, the employer sitting in front of him says "Sir, I am so sorry that you are not up to our demand, because you don't have a bachelor's degree."
Undoubtedly, the picture subtly reflects the current debate on the importance of education background and working abilities. With the rapid development of higher education, an increasing number of people have the opportunity to obtain higher academic background, which intensifies the competition among graduates for jobs. In order to meet the requirements of companies, more students endeavor to get more certificates and higher degrees, but ignore the cultivation of working capacity and practical experience. Whereas, can the blind pursuit of well-educated staff meet the companies' need? Obviously, academic  are merely one form of manifestation of the abilities, and it cannot entirely represent whether a person is equipped with
professional competence.
In a word, enhancing one's ability while pursuing a higher degree is crucial to one's competitiveness. For employers, it should be kept in mind that no one can do a good job by merely depending on a degree.
